Interview Appearance and Reviews

A book presentation will be held at the Garden Cinema in London

On the 25th of November, I’ll be at the Garden Cinema in Covent Garden, London, to attend a screening of David Lynch’s classic “Blue Velvet” and afterwards be interviewed by composer Gary Yershon (“Happy-Go-Lucky,” “Mr. Turner”) about the collaboration of Lynch and composer Angelo Badalamenti.

This appearance is part of my book launch campaign for “A Dream Come True,” my latest work, which was published by Bloomsbury in October.

I would love to see you there! Be quick: tickets are nearly sold out! Follow this link.

A Dream Come True

In related news, the Austrian film magazine “ray” has published a review of my book in their latest edition, the November issue. Although only available in German, you can have a look at it here.

A translation of the last paragraph reads:

Stephan Eicke reconstructs the collaboration of Lynch and Badalamenti: it is rigorous, detailed, and entertaining. Interviews with Lynch's collaborators and Eicke's own analyses are assembled to yield a complex picture of a fruitful relationship.

I’m delighted about the positive feedback I have received, and am greatly looking forward to speaking with Oscar-nominated composer Gary Yershon later this month and hopefully say Hello to you after the discussion.
